Swedish Ambassador to NATO Veronika Wand-Danielsson prepares to depart the amphibious command ship USS Mount Whitney (LCC/JCC 20) while under way in the Baltic Sea June 9, 2010, during Baltic Operations (BALTOPS) exercise 2010. Sweden is one of the twelve nations participating in the 38th iteration of BALTOPS. The multinational exercise is designed to improve antisubmarine warfare readiness and proficiency.
