Soldiers during an operation

U.S. Army Sgt. Colin Unverzagt, an explosive ordnance disposal technician, provides security after exiting a CH-47 Chinook helicopter with other Soldiers during an operation in the Khost province of Afghanistan April 23, 2010. The operation is being conducted to reintroduce a coalition presence, facilitate Afghan National Security Forces clearance of the Shembowat Valley and conduct key leader engagements with village elders in the province.
